Description: 

​​​​The white or common mulberry is often seen as a nuisance tree. They easily seed in the landscape and produce volunteer trees. They are especially well adapted for the urban environment and can tolerate most conditions. The fruit is a drupe that can vary in color but will always be loved by the birds. If it is near the pavement the fruit can be quite messy and stain inducing. This tree is not suggested for planting due to its tendency to create a nuisance.
