The white flowers rebloom during the summer. Dark red, peeling bark will provide winter interest on older plants.
This shrub is typically used as a speciman plant in borders or groupings. It is tolerant of drought, urban environments, colds, and a variety of soil types. The best conditions for flower blooming are in full sun, but it will tolerate partial sun.
