Developed by the University of Minnesota, St. Cloud Blueberry is an interspecific hybrid blueberry with medium sized, dark blue, firm berries. They are sweet and crisp, and ripen early on in the season. Like all blueberries, it requires acidic soil with good drainage and does not tolerate urban pollution. It should be planted along with another variety such as Northblue, North Country, or North Sky for cross polination to obtain a good berry crop.
