Description: 

Summersweet is a dense, rounded shrub that can tolerate full shade. Fragrant rose-pink flowers bloom in late summer, even in shaded locations where other shrubs would not flower. These flowers are thin upright panicles that are loved by pollinators. 'Ruby Spice' summersweet can be planted in rain gardens, hedges, naturalized areas, and along water and woods.
