Common Characteristics:
Dwarf Korean lilac is a small deciduous flowering shrub. Fragrant pale lavender-purple flowers start blooming in mid-May, almost completely covering the shrub in early spring. Occasionally the shrub will rebloom in late summer. It starts flowering at an early age. The leaves are dark green with smooth margins and pointed-ovate in shape.

It is tolerant of urban pollution and cold temperatures. This plant does best in full sun and moist well-drained soils.
How it's Used:
This is a compact shrub that can be planted in smaller spaces, such as below windows where your view would not be obstructed. Plant dwarf Korean lilac in smaller gardens, borders, or in mass plantings. It will also grow in large containers placed in full sun. Water dwarf Korean lilacs weekly, or more often in extreme heat.
